Are Modular Kayaks Safe?
Are modular kayaks safe?? There's always that lingering question.... what if I tip in the rapids? What if I glance against a rock? Is my modular kayak going to break apart?!
Our team here at Great Escape Kayaks can answer that one from experience - no! One of our team member's skills were bested by the chilly rapids of the Yukon River, but her kayak wasn't! Even upside down getting tossed by the waves, the ingenious design keeps the kayak securely fastened together. After all, it was renowned kayak designers Magnus De Brito and Richard Ohman that came up with the design!
